Four ERA-NETs join forces on circularity
The ERA-NET Cofunds on Sustainable Animal Production Systems (SusAn), Monitoring & Mitigation of Greenhouse Gases from Agri- and Silvi-culture (FACCE ERA-GAS), ICT-enabled agri-food systems (ICT-AGRI-FOOD) and Sustainable Crop Production (SusCrop) have pre-announced a joint call for transnational interdisciplinary research projects. The call: “Circularity in mixed crop and livestock farming systems, with emphasis on greenhouse gas mitigation” will focus on (re-) integration of crop and livestock farming systems with the aim to enhance circularity between these systems and thereby improve the sustainability of farms.
The call launch is scheduled for mid-January 2021. To date, nineteen countries including the Netherlands have committed funding for this call.
